Overview
Enjoy a crazy Wonderland of trails by racing the marathon, half-marathon, or 10k at Muleshoe Bend. Expect a well supported, well-marked course, with a big finish line celebration to finish it all off! This is a great beginner trail, just 45 minutes outside of Austin. Camp or drive out. But definitely plan to stay for live music, free beer, and excellent company!

Finisher AwardsAll racers who complete their race will earn a custom Wonderland Trail Race backpack at the finish line! Cutoff
Marathoners must be through their first half-marathon loop by 11:30 AM and finished by 3:30 PM (averaging an 18:19/mile pace).

Parking
All parking (overnight campers and race day) is at the Muleshoe Bend Campground. When you arrive, follow the main road until you hit the lake shore. Be sure to follow race day parking signs and directions from parking attendants!
Park Entrance Fees
Park entrance fees are covered for all race participants. Spectators must pay their own entry fee. You can pay for spectator entry fees upon arrival. Entry fees are $5 for all persons over age 12.
Race Rules
- No pacers allowed
- No dogs allowed on the race course.
Aid Stations and Drop Bags
For the Half-Marathon, there are two full aid stations (mile 3.1 and mile 11) and one water station (mile 7.7) on the course. The marathon will do two loops of the half-marathon course, with an additional full aid station at the half way point (mile 13 at the start/finish). The 10k racers will have a full aid stations at mile 3.1 and mile 4.3.

Lodging
If you would like to camp, you have two options:
1. stay at one of the sites we have booked near the start finish for $25/weekend : Reserve that campsite HERE.
2. book your own campsite through the LCRA, away from the start/finish for $25/night : Reserve that campsite @ https://lcraparks.reserveamerica.com/
We reserve several camping spots closest to the start/finish area. Each spot can fit several tents (maximum number of 8 people per site), so you can pick your space on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you book through us, your reservation fee covers you for both Friday and Saturday. You provide the tent! If you book your own site through LCRA, you'll have a spot to yourself, away from the race. There is a single shower head at the main park entrance where you can go rinse off, or there is always the option to bathe in Lake Travis post-race! Bring a bathing suit and towel,
When the weather is nice, we will host an outdoor movie on Friday night. It typically starts around 8/8:30 pm and runs about one hour. It's usually a collection of short adventure films and kid friendly. Bring a chair or blanket!
Closest hotels are about 15-20 minutes away in Bee Cave.
